Catskills in Upstate New York.

hello guys today i'd like to talk about catskil in upstate new york.

this is our couple's first trip trip and camping. 

I was so excited to camp with our good friend. 

 

you know day before camping was Thanks giving day. we went to my boyfriend's house and we had good lunch with his family. also my boyfriend had great time with his sister. 

They drank a lot and both of them was totally waste. so they threw up everything all night and we had to car stop twice to vomit. (haaaaa...... pretty annoyed)

 

anyway I thought we had to postpond this trip but my boy friend is very stubborn person, he wanted to make it. so yeah we made it. 

 

It tooks 2 hours and half to get there from Queens my house. 

we stopped by "burger king" in the middle of nowhere. (we were so starving.)

 

as soon as we got there we set up the tent. 

that tent from REI for 2 people with footprint. actually until we got tent we had so much taugh time. because we want to get tent with footprint. but it was not easy to find it also expensive. so our final decision was that tent. that wasn't bad, also come with Fly door.

I really like this chair so much. it's big enough for me also has cooler pocket. so comfy. also cheap

but it's pretty tall. it's not very comportable size. but it's okay we are going to use this when we go to fishing or beach some where. it's good investment for us. 

 

well. day before in the city was rain i guess upstate new york too. so everything was wet. there were no dry trees and leaves for making fire. we tried. but failed. hahahaha 

we were thinking about okay.. guys how can we had dinner????? 

thanks god we brought gas and burber so we cooked instant ramen. it was gorgeous we put mushroom, and beef. yeah?

 

weather wasn't great actually. it was shower. and next day hail. harsh... wanna go home.

we planned 2nights 3 days. but no thank you. can't sleep. 

all night i was shake whole my body and needed to fight we crazy cold. even though I had fuzzy blanket and sleeping back those weren't enoug.

 

in the deep deep mountain, night is coming so early. 

 

 

"big pond" very peaceful and calm. my boyfriend tried to catch fish.. but nope nope. sorry babe.

 

after little fishing time we went to hike.

 

when we hike, we followed red trail, when we went down we picked blue trail. oh my gosh blue trail is short way but hard core. 

me and friend wanted to give up. we kept saying ugh never mind just go.... i'm just sleeping here one more night. bye. lol feel like my kneeds are shaking and breaking lol 

 

blue trail was so steep. all friends almost fell down several time. thank friends you guys were safe. 

we are safe guys!!!!!!!! these two pictures is my favorit!!!!! so beautiful aren't they?

 

we came back home safely and we promise that come back here spring or early summer time next year.

so quiet, hard to see someone (so we can move around without mask. great) so fresh air. 

I miss there already. 

 

**I saw some cabins but not sure they are open or not. also camping camping stop is closed so you gusy now can only available primitve camping spot in the mountain. 

 

also you need waterpoof map of Catskills. you can get that from REI or Amazon. it's not that expensive. so I strongly recommend get it before you go. becuase out of town, there are no phone service so it would very hard to find your road without map. there are sign but get a map. it's way better for sure.
